Senior Prep Guide
Gather Ideas & Inspo
I love when clients send me their ideas or images they find appealing - it helps give me an idea of the vibe & types of images they want to capture. I've found the easiest way to do this is via a Pinterest board, but it could really be as simple as sending a few images over email, text or instagram.
I also realize that some seniors are pretty hands off. They just want to show up to their senior session, be guided for posing and go with the flow - which is 1000% okay as well!
What to wear
I know the idea is daunting but the most important thing to keep in mind is...wear what makes you FEEL the best. Your outfits should make you feel confident & comfortable! They should also allow you to move pretty easily.
- Prepare more than one outfit. This will give your gallery more variety to choose from.
- Avoid wearing neon unless we've discussed it. It doesn't photograph particularly well in a lot of settings.
- Don't be afraid to accessorize!

What to bring to your shoot
- Makeup for retouches
- Extra Outfit(s) if you're planning to change
- Accessories (hats, jewelry, ties, etc)
- Props, if it applies. (footballs, volleyballs, pom poms, instruments, flowers, etc)
- Towel for sweat (the summer sun is no joke) - a small hand held fan will also feel nice!
- Water, water, water :)
See you soon!
